Frequently Asked Questions
Everything travelers ask about park-sleep-fly: how it works, whether it beats airport parking, shuttles, cancellations, and more.
It's a hotel room near the airport bundled with airport parking (often 7–14 days) and a shuttle to your terminal. You drive in the night before an early flight, sleep nearby, leave your car at the hotel, and shuttle over in the morning. When you land you shuttle back and drive home.
Often, yes — especially for early flights or trips of 4+ days. If the airport garage is $36/day, a 7-day trip is about $252 in parking alone; a park-sleep-fly package that includes one hotel night plus parking for the trip can come in lower. We show the side-by-side math on each airport page (e.g. an ATL 7-day breakdown) so you can check it for your own dates rather than assuming.
It depends on the package — many include 7, 10, or 14 days, with the option to add nights. The exact limit is shown on each property's listing on our booking partner's site before you book. Going over the included window usually costs a small per-day fee.
Most airport-area hotels run a shuttle to the terminals. Frequency ranges from every 15–30 minutes to on-request, and hours vary by property — some run 24/7, others have limited windows. Always confirm the shuttle schedule on the hotel listing matches your departure and arrival times, and allow extra time during peak hours.
Your car stays parked — you're covered for the nights in your package, and you can usually add days if needed. For the hotel night itself, the property's cancellation policy applies; it's shown before you confirm. Refundable rates cost a little more but pay for themselves the first time plans shift.
Cancellation terms vary by property and are shown before you pay and in your confirmation email. ParkPackage doesn't process the reservation itself — bookings, changes, and cancellations are handled by the booking partner (such as Booking.com or Hotels.com), so follow the policy on your confirmation.
No. ParkPackage is free to use and you pay the price shown on the booking partner's site. We may earn a commission when you book through our links, which comes out of the partner's margin and never increases your price.
We cover dozens of major US airports — see the full list on our Airports page. Each airport has its own page with a cost breakdown, area hotels, and trip-length guidance. We add new ones regularly.
Parking is operated by the hotel or an established lot, and is typically gated, lit, and/or patrolled. Specific security details and any liability terms are set by the property and shown on its listing — review them before booking, especially for longer trips.
ParkPackage is an affiliate-comparison site. When you click through and complete a qualifying booking with a partner, we may earn a commission. This never changes your price and never affects which options we show or how we present them. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
